Mustang Mini Pom Camp
The Coronado POM squad is hosting their "Mini POM Camp" at Coronado in May. The squad will be teaching these elementary aged girls basic dance technique, the fight song, a sideline routine, and a "pep-rally" routine to a One-Direction song. They will also receive a T-shirt that is identical to one that the POM girls will be wearing next school year. For more information, click here.
New Telephone System
Coronado is the first school in the district to have a new automated phone system.   It will be assessed by dialing 766 0600. At that point a recording will answer and lead you through an option menu. This system will assist you in getting to the specific individual you need to speak with (ALPHA Principal, ALPHA clerk, counselor, nurse, athletics) instead of being transferred from phone to phone. If that person is unavailable the structure has the ability for you to leave a voice message. When you leave a message the individual you hope to speak with will immediately be contacted by email instructing them that they have a voice message. Note that teachers will not have a phone but will have a voice mail-box so that you will always be able to leave them a voice message. Again this system will be accessed by dialing the main school number – 766 0600.

For a list of the phone extensions, click here.

Graduation 2013
Click here for Senior Information found on the Counselor Web page.
Main Office Changes Due to Construction
Due to ongoing construction on campus and the start of remodelling on the main office, the front office of the school will be closed until further notice.  The Vicksburg Avenue entrance to the school will be closed and all visitors should enter the school from the northwest entrance near the portable buildings.  For information on the temorary locations of administrators, counselors, school nurse, student services and other administrative offices, click here for a map.  We appreciate your patience during this time of growth and renewal for our campus.
Student Opportunities Book 2013-2014
Now that students are completing their schedule choices for the 2013-2014 year, students and parents are encouraged to consider the many opportunities available at Coronado for academic, athelic and club activities.  Click here for the student opportunities booklet for 2013-2014.
Class of 1973 40 Year Reunion
It's hard to believe that it's been 40 years since we walked the halls of Coronado.  Come join us this June as we remember our times as Mustangs and celebrate 40 years of achievement and accomplishments.  For details on the 40 year reunion for the Class of 1973, click here.
Class Testing Schedule
Testing for all MAJOR grades - projects, summative and district assessments, etc. will be on the following days for the 2012-2013 school year.

This schedule has been implemented to prevent students from having multiple major assessments on the same day due to the eight period day schedule that has been implemented.  Coronado faculty has been instructed to make sure that all major grades for their subjects only take place on the designated day of the week.
English – Monday / Tuesday
Social Studies – Tuesday / Wednesday
Science – Wednesday / Thursday
Math – Thursday / Friday
Electives – any day necessary
New Bell Schedule
The new bell schedule for the 2012-2013 school year is posted under the "About our school" tab at the left.  For a copy you can print out, click here
